Pushpaja seva sangham is an association of the garland makers of temples in Kerala. These garland made by them only is used to adorn the deity or idols in temples. Mainly these work in temples is carried out by a cast known as Nambisans. Varrier community also is also traditionally garland makers. They go in search of flowers that can be offered to the god, make garlands and other floral patterns for the lord of the temple. Priests of the temple will accept it from them, without touching, and is offered to the lord.
Pushpaja Seva Sangham is a non-political movement to take care of the genuine requirements of the members of these casts, mainly Nambisans.
During the association 47th state meet Sreejish Marar participated in a Ashtapadi recital. Sreejish played idayka in accompaniment to the recital.
